How we detect a first IT hire
We classify every posting title into one of 41 role families. IT covers: it support, systems administration and corporate engineering. We keep the full history of families each company has ever posted.
- Observed: the family appeared on a board where we had previously recorded postings and never saw this family.
- Inferred: on the first crawl of an established board (postings older than 60 days), the family has only 1–2 roles, all posted in the last 21 days.
